Students who are eligible to receive education benefits from the Veterans Affairs (VA) Administration must provide their certificate of eligibility form to ETBU's Registrar’s Office. To receive benefits from the various VA programs, (i.e. 第三十章, 31, 33, 35), 学生 must be making satisfactory academic progress (SAP) towards a degree.
While VA benefits do not impact eligibility for Federal Title IV aid, the ETBU Financial Aid Office will determine eligibility for institutional aid based on the percent年龄 of tuition and 费用 covered by the VA benefits. In some cases, VA recipients may not be eligible for specific scholarships or grants at ETBU.
Since aid may be awarded prior to VA benefits being approved, the aid pack年龄 will be adjusted when the Financial Aid Office is notified of the VA benefits. The combination of VA benefits (Post 9/11, or Chapter 33, or Chapter 31) and ETBU scholarships may not exceed the cost of tuition, 费用, 书, room and meals (if living on-campus).
